Athens Theatre Company Presents “Once Upon a Mattress”

The Athens Theatre Company celebrates its director, Krista Manfredi's 45th year as a theatre director in Troy with its spring production, "Once Upon a Mattress." This musical version of the Hans Christian Andersen classic fable of "The Princess and the Pea," tells the zany tale of a meddling mother, who thinks no one is good enough for her son the prince. The queen’s plan nearly backfires, as the tower of mattresses gets higher and higher. You’ll have to see it to believe how the story ends!

Performances are March 9, 10, 16 & 17 at 8:01 pm, March 11 at 3:01 pm with a student matinee on the March 19. Tickets are $15 adults, $10 students, $5 Seniors and can be reserved by calling 248.823.2923 or sending a check payable to ATC to 4333 John R., Troy, MI 48085.
