Attempted Auto Break-In at Oakland Mall, Student's Cell Phone Taken From Locker at Troy Athens

Vehicle Stolen from Outside Local Eatery
Troy Police were called to Kerby's Koney Island on Monday on reports that an employee's Plymouth Neon had been stolen from the parking lot. The incident happened sometime between 7:30 and 8:45 p.m.
Home Invasion on Century Street
Troy Police responded to a call from a residence on Century Street just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. A woman living at an apartment there told police that she discovered, upon returning home, that the rear glass door to her apartment had been broken and the apartment had been ransacked. Jewelry, electronics and cash were missing from the home.

Student's Cell Phone Stolen During School Hours
A student at Athens High School told police that his cell phone was stolen from his backpack on Monday afternoon. The student had left the backpack unsecured in his gym locker room. The incident happened between 2:10 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Attempted Auto Break-In at Oakland Mall
Troy Police were called to the parking lot of Oakland Mall Tuesday where it was discovered that a Chrysler 300 had been damaged during an apparent break-in. The driver’s side window was smashed and the ignition was broken during an unsuccessful attempt to steal the car. The incident was reported to have happened between 9:45 a.m. and 6:17 p.m.
