ABOUT THE NORTH WOODWARD COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
Not all Community Foundations are created equal. Community Foundations can differ from one another a great deal. We, at the North Woodward Community Foundation, have dedicated our efforts to investing in citizen driven initiatives to enhance the quality of life in the communities we serve, through philanthropy. Our “hands-on” philosophy is concentrated on, but not limited to, three specific areas: children and childhood hunger, human services and the promotion of programs to aid our senior citizen population. We actively seek and initiate partnerships that promote our mission and vision. The North Woodward Community Foundation is governed by a board of directors, a set of local leaders whose concerns, roles and demographic mix, broadly represent the population of the communities the Foundation serves. The Foundation manages over 100 programs that benefit the community. For additional information, visit www.nwcommunityfoundation.org.
