Bank Robber Said 'I'll Kill Everyone Here' In Note: Police

HAZEL PARK, MI -- A Troy woman is being held on $1 million bond on charges of a bank robbery in Hazel Park, and was arraigned Monday.

Kristy Balowski, 39, of Troy, allegedly handed a bank teller a deposit slip with the message: “Give me all your money or I’ll kill everyone in here.”

The robbery happened at the PNC Bank on Chrysler Drive. The teller handed Balowski cash and she fled the scene, leaving nobody injured, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Balowski has a history of crime, the Free Press reported, which includes convictions of larceny in a building, auto theft and other crimes dating back to 2004.

She has a hearing on Aug. 15 and a preliminary exam on Aug. 22.
