Be a CareerLaunch Mentor and Support #GreatFutures

Volunteer opportunities are available to help Boys & Girls Club of Troy teens build the skills they need to enter the workforce.

CareerLaunch, supported by Gap Foundation, is a comprehensive program which encourages Boys & Girls Club of Troy members ages 13 to 18 to assess their skills and interests, explore careers, make sound educational decisions and prepare to join our nation’s work force.

Club staff and volunteers help teens build their job-search skills and job readiness, and provide them with online career exploration, college and job search information and interactive activities. Mentoring, job shadowing and training opportunities round out the program.

Contact Boys & Girls Club of Troy Program Director Nicole Parlor (248-689-1687) or visit www.bgctroy.org if you are interested in supporting this program as a volunteer or mentor this fall.
