Brother Rice Is Grad's First Client with Networking App
Students, parents and alumni connected in a closed platform that gives them access to jobs, mentors, internships and more.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI – Students, parents and alumni at the Brother Rice Catholic prep school will be connected through a social networking platform created by one of it the school’s graduates.
Brother Rice alumni Ajay Chawla is co-founder of GroupClique, a closed digital platform he’s marketing to organizations to create micro communities where members can more easily connect and support each other both socially and in business.
Chawla said he was inspired to create GroupClique because of his ongoing relationship with the school and the support and networking opportunities that he has experienced through the school’s alumni and parent community since his graduation.

"Supporting my school and community has always been important to me and I wanted to create a way to make it easier for all of us to support each other in our endeavors,” Chawla said in a news release.
For example, Brother Rice student GroupClique members get greater access to alumni business leaders, who may help them find a summer job or internship, connect them with mentors or market their business ideas within their own networks.
