Location: The Village Club
Join artist Sheri Lee Robinson for an art therapy workshop centering on Neurographic Art, an accessible and rewarding form of art-making that nurtures creativity, mindfulness, and emotional well-being in students of all ages and abilities.
A celebrated contemporary artist based in Metro Detroit, Sheri will encourage free expression among participants, eliminating the fear of mistakes and tapping into the power of the right brain. This structured yet free-flowing method centers on creating organic, neuron-like lines and shapes that can be colored in with paint, pencils or markers to create a soothing and meaningful abstract composition. You will be empowered to explore your artistic potential and will walk away with at least one complete work of art. You will also have learned a powerful new technique that you can pursue on your own for years to come. Relaxing, easy and fun for all.
Sheri is the 2026 Artist in Residence in The Village Club Enrichment Fund’s Women of Impact Residency Program, a year-long experience designed to celebrate and engage with extraordinary women who are shaping our region’s cultural, creative and civic life.
