The Arc of Oakland County is inviting community members to attend a FREE Accessible Voting Workshop on Thursday, July 30, designed to help individuals better understand Michigan's accessible voting options and gain confidence before Election Day.
The interactive, hands-on workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about accessible voting resources, practice using a Voter Assistance Terminal (VAT) and paper ballots, and become more familiar with the voting process in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Representatives from the Oakland County Clerk's Office will lead the presentation, demonstrate accessible voting equipment, and answer questions from attendees.
In addition, The Arc of Oakland County's Advocacy Resource Center will be available to assist individuals with checking their voter registration status, locating polling places, and registering to vote.
