The Troy Community Chorus, under the direction of Dr. William Harrison and accompanied by Min Sook Chung, will begin their fall rehearsals on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 7-9 PM. The first 2 rehearsals will be held at The First United Methodist Church of Troy located at 6363 Livernois Road in Troy. Subsequent rehearsals will be in the choir room at Athens High School 4333 John R Road also in Troy. Registration will take place on Tuesday, September 8th and 15th from 6-7 PM followed by full rehearsal. The registration fee is $45/person or $80/ couple or individuals residing in the same household. Come develop your mindfulness practice at the Stage Nature Center's 100-acre nature preserve. The Mindfulness at Stage Teen/Adult and Family Workshops are developed by healthcare professionals and mindfulness facilitators from Corewell Health and Henry Ford Health along with naturalists from the Troy Nature Society. Each workshop is designed to cultivate mindfulness exercises by bringing your attention to the natural world. During the workshop, participants will focus on nature, connect with their senses, and practice self-care in order to support mental well-being. These programs are not intended as therapy or treatment.

These in-person guided mindfulness workshops are held several times throughout the year. Participants are invited to attend numerous sessions based on space availability. While the core workshop format remains the same, the experience for each workshop will vary based on the facilitator and what we observe in nature. The Rochester Symphony Orchestra Presents "Latin Hearts, European Souls"

It’s the inaugural Jack-O-Lanterns Among the Trees! Saturday, come walk the sugar maple loop and see your carved pumpkin (and many others) gently illuminating the trails for a one-of-a-kind experience and ambiance. We will have educational stations to learn about some nighttime animals, refreshments, a storyteller, guided night trail walks to see the trails as few ever get to, live owls, and much more! On Friday, add pumpkin carving by yourself or with friends and family for an additional $15 a pumpkin (for up to 4 people, additional pumpkins available for $15 each). Then take your carved pumpkins home after the event on Saturday. 
Want to come Saturday but don’t feel like carving a pumpkin? No problem! Tickets are available for Saturday only. Whether you’re looking for an idea for date night, something new and fun for the kids to do in the fall, or even a relaxing way to spend an evening by yourself, this brand new program has you covered. We’ve never done anything like this and space is limited so don’t miss out!&nbsp;
