Celebrate the Seniors Making an Impact in Your Community

Do you know a senior who is dedicated to community service? Show them you care by nominating them today for the Priority Health Senior Impact Awards.

Local nonprofit organizations are crucial for a thriving society. With activities ranging from providing support, enhancing research, cultivating arts and keeping neighborhoods clean, the work seniors in our communities do creates a better community for all. In addition, these volunteers strengthen the organizations with which they serve.

Priority Health invites the community to celebrate all seniors who commit their time and talents to local nonprofit organizations across Michigan. Winners will receive statewide recognition and earn a $1,000 donation for the nonprofit organization where they volunteer.

To nominate a senior in your area, please fill out this short nomination form prior to July 30. Finalists will be selected in early August.

Priority Health wants to reward volunteers who go above and beyond. There is value in a financial donation but giving your personal time to an organization takes true dedication.

The Senior Impact Award program is open to all Michigan residents age 63 and older, who volunteer for a nonprofit organization. The award winners will be chosen based on their exceptional contributions as well as their ability to inspire and motivate others. Award winners will be determined by combining the results of an online community vote and recommendations from community leaders. Finalist voting will be available on the Priority Health Medicare Facebook page starting in August at facebook.com/prioritymedicare.

These individuals do so much for their community and put others first. It is time to show them our appreciation with a little well-deserved recognition.
