Chiropractor Seek Cell Phone Donations for Haven Women's Shelter

Advanced Health Chiropractic is hosting a cell phone drive for Haven Women’s Shelter during the month of April 2015 at its Troy office at 6585 Rochester Rd, Suite 107.

The chiropractic team at Advanced Health Chiropractic is asking the community to donate any used, outdated cell phones. Donated cell phones will be collected and given to Haven, an Oakland County-based women’s shelter.

The donated cell phones are refurbished and given to the recovering women to help them secure jobs, connect with family members and retain independence.

“By donating an old cell phone taking up space in a junk drawer, we can reduce electronic waste while helping women and children in need,” said Dr. Lisa Bell. “Simple things like being able to schedule a job interview or daycare are critical to the success of families working hard to start a new life.”

Phones can be dropped off at the front desk of Advanced Health Chiropractic’s office at 6585 Rochester Rd, Suite 107.
