Several officers will be on hand to discuss topics of interest with residents in an informal, one-on-one setting. The purpose of the event is to promote positive interaction between police and residents, and give residents the opportunity to meet the people behind the badge.
“We want this to be an event where residents can ask questions, share concerns or just get to know us,” Chief Gary Mayer said in a news release. “As a Department, we value community policing and are continually looking for opportunities to build positive relationships with the people we serve.”
