Deadly Oakland County Crash Kills 1: Police
A semi truck collided with an SUV in Bloomfield Township on Tuesday night, sending the SUV into a wooded area, police said.
BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — A driver was killed Tuesday night after a deadly crash in Bloomfield Township, according to Bloomfield Township Police.
Police said a semi truck smashed into an SUV near the Telegraph Road and Old Telegraph Road intersection at 9:30 p.m.
The impact of the crash sent the SUV across Telegraph Road into a wooded area, where officers found the driver of the SUV dead in the driver's seat, police said. The driver of the semi truck was not injured in the crash.

Police believe the driver in the SUV was trying to cross the northbound lanes of Telegraph Road from the southbound lanes of Old Telegraph Road without yielding the right of way.
