DIA Docent to Give Presentation on the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo in Detroit Exhibition

(Troy, MI)----April 20, 2015------ On Thursday, April 30th at 7:30 PM at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Troy, DIA docent Bea Smits will give a slide show presentation on the critically acclaimed ‘Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo in Detroit’ exhibition exclusively on display until July 12th at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

The exhibit brings together nearly 70 works of art that depict the evolution of these two extraordinary artists’ careers, including eight of Rivera’s epic preparatory drawings for the Detroit Industry murals and 23 pieces by Kahlo,
whose work has never before been shown at the DIA.
