Driver Found Dead In Oakland County Wooded Area: Police

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Police found a driver dead inside a pickup truck that crashed into a wooded area overnight in Bloomfield Township, police said,

Police found the driver dead inside the badly damaged truck Monday morning at 5:42 a.m. in the wooded area on the west side of Kensington Road at Wattles Road, police said.

Police did not release the driver's identity and no one else was found inside the truck, police said.

Officials were still investigating the cause of the crash and asked anyone with information to call Sgt. Pete Matejcik at 248-433-7769.
