Barnes & Noble welcomes Carol McCloud

Carol McCloud, The Bucket Lady, early childhood specialist, educator and popular international speaker, will be at the Troy Barnes & Noble on Sunday, April 22, 2012, to speak and sign copies of her latest book, "Will You Fill My Bucket?"Ms. McCloud understands that a healthy self-concept starts very early in life, and is fostered by others.  As President of Bucket Fillers, Inc., an educational organization in Brighton, Michigan, her team mission is to create bucket filling schools, families and communities, where everyone is respected, honored and valued.Ms. McCloud has authored Have You Filled A Bucket Today?, Fill A Bucket, and Growing Up With A Bucket Full of Happiness.  Her latest book, "Will You Fill My Bucket?" consists of sweet rhyming prose and vividly captivating illustrations, expressing the deep joy and love we hope for all children.The author signing is part of a special Education Reception for Barnes & Noble Educator Appreciation Week.   The reception begins at noon with a continental brunch, and is for Pre K- grade 12 Educators and Administrators, honoring them for their dedication to our community of children.  Ms. McCloud will speak at 1:00 pm, and sign copies of her new book.For additional information on this and other Barnes & Noble events in Troy, contact Denise Porter, Community Relations Manager, at 248-577-5073.
