Pastor author of a new book entitled Faith in the Public Square (Energion Publications, 2012) and a regular contributor to the Troy Patch, will be leading a conversation about the role of faith or religion in publid life. The event will include an opportunity to buy his new book and participate in a book signing.
The conversation will focus on the place of religion in public life when a nation is religiously and politically pluralistic. This is an important issue during this political season. Remembering that for many, religion is private, and doesn't belong in public life. Others believe that their religion offers a moral foundation to public life, and that they have the responsibility to impose that foundation on others. Is there a third way? One that is faithful and open?
You are invited to join in a conversation and a book signing that follow the conversation. Books will be available for purchase.
