Oakland Choral Society presents Handel's Messiah

The Oakland Choral Society, under the direction of Frederic DeHaven, will present Handel’s Messiah with orchestra on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 4:30 PM at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1800 W. Maple, Birmingham, MI 48009.

 Soloists for program are Kathleen Keenan, soprano; Margaret Matthes, soprano; Daniel Schuetz countertenor; Kyle Stegall, tenor; and Mark Watson, bass.

Tickets $15 and $25 are available in advance by calling 248-391-0184, or at the door.

 Dr. Schuetz, a graduate of Michigan State University and University of Illinois, is a renowned countertenor.  Local engagements include  soloist with the Detroit Chamber Winds, Ann Arbor Art Song Festival, Artist up close series with the Toledo Symphony and Opera Mid-Michigan.
