Avondale School District will host the “A Train” event, the largest model train show in Michigan by attendance, on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Avondale High School, 2800 Waukegan Road in Auburn Hills. From 10 am – 3 pm, nearly 400 tables will be filled with model railroad and related railroad memorabilia. Cost is $3 for adults; children 12 and under are free. Proceeds will benefit the Avondale Education Foundation which supports student development through educational enrichment programs.
