The USA Melting Pot club will hold its third meeting Tuesday, July 24 in the Troy Public Library meeting room from 7-9 p.m.. Speakers are:
Jaesoo Lee, Korean culture, food, geography and language,
Dale Murrish, Camping from backpacking to bike and car camping to popups & RVs.
During Table Time, we will plan our August 19 picnic at the Troy Historic Village and other activities. The club's purpose is:To help newcomers assimilate into the USA and mingle with all ethnic groups
- To celebrate ethnic background & cultural identity, including American culture
- To provide a forum for conversational English
- To encourage face to face dialogue in our increasingly technology-dependent world
