THE TROY ROTARY FOUNDATION PRESENTS 1ST ANNUAL SIGNATURE FUNDRAISER
VIVA LA VINO, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST, 2012.
Viva La Vino is a fun wine tasting event that will feature fascinating people, great networking, silent auction and gift basket bidding, tasty hors d’oeuvres, Italian cheeses, delightful deserts and of course, delicious wine! Viva la Vino is the signature fundraiser for the Troy Rotary Foundation. All proceeds go back to the community of Troy and its surrounding cities in the form of student scholarships, meals for the needy, literacy programs and support for the homeless.
The San Marino Club of Troy provides a regal location for the Viva La Vino event, with complimentary Valet parking, and a venue designed like a castle, guests of the event will feel like royalty from the moment they arrive at the event.
Silent Auction and Gift Basket bidding will be plentiful, as donated items continue to pour in. Attendees to the event will be able to bid on auction items ranging from big ticket items including a $7,000 value luxury vacation and an elegant diamond necklace valued at $3,500 donated by Birmingham Jewellers. Also in the silent auction are a flat screen TV, a target shooting experience day, artwork from top Detroit artists, restaurant dining and movie packages, and sports packages with signed memorabilia and tickets to both U of M football and Pistons basketball games.
Attendees of the event will be able to learn about a sampling of 25 wines, if they find a delicious wine that they want to purchase more of, there will be options for them to place orders for their individual bottles and cases. With a portion of the sale going to charity, the attendee can feel good that they are helping their local community.
