Freeway Lane, Ramp Closures Mark Road Projects

METRO DETROIT, MI — Road construction projects around Metro Detroit will be continuing through the weekend. According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, projects will touch each of the area’s major freeways. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening from MDOT:
I-696
Oakland County- EB 696 from Novi Road to Haggerty Road, left lane closed through July.

I-75
Wayne County – NB 75, Schaefer to Springwells, only 1 lane open, Friday 8p-Monday 5a. Also, EB Schaefer ramp to NB 75 closed. Northline ramp to NB 75 closed.
Wayne County – Northline Road ramp to NB 75, ramp closed, Friday 8p-Monday 5a.
In Wayne County, NB 75 from Northline to Goddard Rd will have 1 lane open, 2 lanes closed Friday 8p-Monday 5 am and Northline ramp to 75 closed.

I-94
Wayne County – EB 94 near Livernois, right lane closed, 2 lanes open, Sunday 8p-Monday 5a. Cecil ramp to EB 94 also closed.
Wayne County – EB 94 at Central, only 1 right lane open, 2 lanes closed, Sat 9pm-Sun 5am.
Wayne County – EB 94 near Central, right lane closed, 2 lanes open, Fri 8am-Sat 5p.
Macomb County – 94, River Rd to 23 Mile, moving single lane closures, Sun 9p-Mon 5a.

I-96
Wayne County – WB 96, Outer Dr to Telegraph, right lane closed, 3 lanes open, Sat 7a-7p. Also ramp WB 96 to Telegraph, ramp closed.

8 Mile: (M-102)
Macomb County – EB 8 Mile, Groesbeck to Hamburg, 2 right lanes closed, 2 open. Saturday 7a-Monday 5a.

Ford Rd: (M-153)
Wayne County – EB Ford, Outer Dr to Evergreen, 1 right lane closed, 3 open, Saturday 6a-Monday 5a.

M-59:
Oakland County – Williams Lake at M-59, only 1 lane open, 2 lanes closed.
NB Williams can only turn on to EB 59. SB Williams can only turn on to WB 59.

Michigan Ave: (US-12)
Wayne County – EB Michigan at Inkster Rd, right lane closed, 3 lanes open Sat 6a-Sun 6a.
