To celebrate Michigan’s first Piada Italian Street Food restaurant opening at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 at 2038 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, the first 100 people in line will win free piada for one year. Eager participants can begin camping out as early as 6 p.m., Thurs, Nov. 21, bringing their own camping gear to stay comfortable while they wait in line. Participants must be present to win. Piada Troy is the first Michigan location of the Columbus, OH-based restaurant that has 17 locations in OH and IN. Founded by Chris Doody, Piada is a new genre of fresh fare with Northern Italian roots. Piada is quickly rising in popularity and was hailed as a “Hot Concept” by Nation’s Restaurant News.

At Piada Troy, the menu includes several “Street Sides” and desserts, as well as three entrée options, each topped with a grill item, vegetable and cheese toppings, and from-scratch sauce:
