Grace Centers of Hope Nominated for National Award

Help GCH win a $25,000 grant by voting for them as your favorite charity. They are the Midwest regional winner, one of five finalists.

Here’s the WORLD national news-magazine article nominating Grace Centers of Hope as one of five finalists for their 2015 Hope Award for Effective Compassion.

Here’s an article about their move to the former Clutch Cargo nightclub located across the street from the homeless shelter, converting it back into a church building.

After the move last year, they are fundraising to convert the former church Grace Gospel Fellowship at Perry and Woodward into a shelter for women and children (see attached raffle flyer for 1956 Oldsmobile). If you missed buying a raffle ticket during the Woodward Dream Cruise, there is still time!

Please take a minute to vote and help them win the $25,000 grant. It plus the national recognition will help fund the operating costs of the new shelter, allowing them to assist more people. Click on the VOTE link below and consider forwarding this article to others. Voting ends Sept. 14 and the winner will be announced Sept. 18. Thanks!
