Great Foods from Around the Globe Abound at Athens High School's Community Flavors: An Evening of International Cuisine on Thursday, December 11
Crepes, chicken shawarma, tandoori chicken, Jamaican jerk...all in one place...don't miss this flavorful celebration

From crepes to chicken shawarma to Jamaican jerk wings and a multitude of other global dining options, Athens High School in Troy will be host to a wonderful evening of amazing food and family fun on the evening of Thursday, December 11. The event called Community Flavors: An Evening of International Cuisine will offer five food stations each representing a different ethnicity, DJ entertainment, a vendor bazaar, family activities and more. Event hours are from 5 pm to 9 pm. A portion of all event proceeds benefits the Athens Theatre Company.
Community Flavors: An Evening of International Cuisine is open to the general public. You do not have to have a student in the Troy School District to attend. All food lovers are encouraged to attend.
Participating restaurants and caterers include Oye Crepes, Byblos Café & Grill, Krishna’s Catering & Restaurant and Lavonne’s Catering. The food is going to be diverse and nothing short of spectacular.

A selection of nearly 30 local businesses will exhibiting and offering a fantastic assortment of apparel, jewelry, beauty and health products for your shopping and gift purchasing enjoyment.
Advance ticket purchases are encouraged. Adult tickets are $10.00. Tickets for children 6 and over and teens 17 and under are $8.00. Children 5 and under are free. All paid tickets include $5.00 in food vouchers that are redeemable that night with any of our participating food establishments. Athens High School is located at 4333 John R Road in Troy, just north of Wattles Road. The event will be located in the school’s cafeteria and adjoining common spaces.
