Howrylak bill will save dozens of lives and prevent injuries

State Rep. Martin Howrylak recently tested a distracted driving simulator at the state Capitol.

Martin Howrylak tested a distracted driving simulator on behalf the Michigan Brain Injury Provider Council, Brain Injury Association of Michigan and the Michigan State Police on Tuesday. House legislators were invited to test the module and learn about distracted driving prevention and awareness. Rep. Howrylak recently introduced House Bill 4466, a bill that would redefine the acceptable usage of an electronic device while operating a motor vehicle. HB 4466 is currently in the House Committee on Transportation.
