Identity Theft Prevention

Residents of Troy will have two opportunities to hear financial and law enforcement professionals talk about ID Theft.

Local financial advisor, Renée Floer, was sitting in her kitchen in Michigan one evening when she received a phone call from her credit card company. They wanted to know if she was buying a pizza in Brazil. This incident sparked an interest in educating consumers about identity theft: what it is, how to prevent it and what to do if you fall victim to it.

Renée will be hosting two events in conjunction with the Troy Police Department and the FBI.
