Indoor Action Slide Park Opening First MI Location In Metro Detroit

TROY, MI — The largest indoor action slide park is coming to metro Detroit.

Slick City Action Park will open its latest location at 1820 Crooks Road in Troy in early March.

The indoor park will offer a variety of entertainment options for people of all ages, including multi-lane racing slides, ziplines, sports and dodgeball courts and more.

The action slides include the Avalanche, the Zig Zag, the Mega Launch and the Python. There will also be party rooms and a cafe where guests can relax refuel with a variety of food, drinks and snacks.

Longtime Troy business owners and community leaders Toby and Julie Buechner will operate Slick City Troy.

"This is something Michigan has never seen before," Toby said in a statement. "We’ve spent decades helping kids and families in our community grow, play and make memories through sports and recreation. Slick City takes that same mission and kicks it into high gear. It’s the next big thing for family fun in our state."

Slick City was founded in 2021 and opened its first location in Denver in 2022. They now have locations across the country.
