Lisa Toenniges Wins Award from ISPI

Innovative Learning Group (ILG) CEO Lisa Toenniges has won the Distinguished Service Award from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). The award recognizes Toenniges’s outstanding contributions to the advancement of ISPI.
“It's an honor and very gratifying to receive this award after nearly 30 years of volunteer service to the Society," says Toenniges. "I feel like I followed a textbook volunteer career path with ISPI, gradually taking on more responsibility and honing my volunteer leadership skills. Throughout this journey, I met wonderful people from across the globe who have become clients, employees, freelancers, and lifelong friends. I encourage everyone to start on this rewarding volunteer path."
Toenniges rose through the Society’s ranks, first serving as president of the ISPI Michigan Chapter, then as chair of ISPI’s 2010 annual conference, and most recently in several roles on the Society’s board of directors. In April 2015, she completed her term as the Society’s past president; she previously served as treasurer, president-elect, and president.
