Innovative Learning Group Wins Two Brandon Hall Group Awards

Bronze Awards of Excellence

Innovative Learning Group, a performance-first learning company in Troy, won two Brandon Hall Group Bronze Awards for Excellence in categories of Best Advance in Learning Measurement and Best Use of Blended Learning. The two wins represent projects ILG completed with a large global medical technology client.

“These awards are a testament to our strong partnership with our clients. We’re especially thrilled that one of the awards was for evaluation. Evaluation of learning programs is often a forgotten step, so assisting our client in this effort was very rewarding,” says Gayle Holsworth, senior director, client solutions, and the ILG account manager for this client.

The winning evaluation project assessed the behavior changes and business impact resulting from the client’s learning solutions. The award submission describes how ILG’s assessment process was applied to one specific course: root cause analysis training. Using data collected via learner survey and interviews, ILG diagnosed key issues in the existing course and recommended modifications. These led to a redesigned root cause analysis course delivered company-wide.

The winning blended learning project is a suite of solutions designed to help ILG’s client adopt a competency-driven talent management system. Solution design and development was guided by Mosher and Gottfredson’s 5 Moments of Need methodology to meet the learning and performance needs of all employees. The suite includes videos, e-learning, an interactive competency modeling tool, online performance support, workshops, and coaching.
