Judge Denies Motion to Drop Charges in Trooper Dragging Case

Bond raised for Waterford suspect after multiple violations of his pre-trial release.

(Posted Nov. 16, 2016) An Oakland County Circuit Court judge has refused to drop charges against a Waterford man accused in the dragging death of Michigan State Police Trooper Chad Wolf. Wolf was on routine patrol on his motorcycle on I-75 in Springfield Township on Aug. 278, 2015,when Charles Raymond Warren, 69, of Waterford allegedly struck him and dragged him for nearly four miles. Warren's bond was also increased.
