League of Women Voters Hosts "Meet the Candidates" for school board

The League of Women Voters of Troy Area will be holding its Candidates Night for Troy School Board on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Troy School District Services Building located at 4420 Livernois, south of Long Lake. Everyone is welcome. Five candidates are running for 2 vacant seats. Terms of office are 6 years. Questions will be taken from the audience on 3 x 5 cards and the League reserves the right to group questions to avoid duplication in order to get more subjects covered. They will also screen questions for appropriateness and will try to see that all candidates get to answer all questions. The program will last one hour and there will be time to talk to the candidates after the program. The program will be videotaped and shown at times to be determined and also on video on demand to watch on your computers.

The forum is free and open to the public. No reservations are required. More information on the candidates will be available shortly on www.vote411.org or https://www.lwv.org/local-leagues/lwv-troy and in written form on the School Board Voter's Guide which are also free.
