LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan to host glamorous red carpet premiere of 4D LEGO Movie

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Michigan will host a glamorous red carpet movie premiere of an all-new 10 minute long version of the enormously successful LEGO Movie, specially formatted for the attraction’s 4D cinema. The invitation-only premiere is set for 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, and the movie will be available for public viewing beginning Saturday, July 16.

The new short film features the adventures of favorite LEGO Movie characters brought to life in the 4D Cinema, complete with the elements of wind, rain, snow and lightning. Jessica Lundy from TV 20 will host the event, ushering guests along the red carpet in style. One lucky LEGO fan will win a contest to receive the star treatment by arriving to the premiere in a Dodge Charger Limousine provided by Motown Limo.

The movie premiere will feature interactive activities such as a chance to meet LEGOLAND Discovery Center’s mascot Bertie, along with Detroit sports mascots. Additionally, guests will experience a special build lesson led by Master Model Builder Clint Parry, a LEGO Movie takeover of the MINILAND exhibit, special refreshments and a photo booth, and have full range to explore the attraction.
