Man Accused Of Masturbating While Filming Women Outside Troy Gym: Cops

TROY, MI — A man was arrested after masturbating inside his car while filming women walking by in a Troy parking lot, according to police.

Officers were called to the Planet Fitness on John R Road at 5:20 p.m. on Jan. 30 for a report that a man was exposing himself and masturbating in his car while filming women, according to police.

Witnesses told officers they pulled into a parking spot and saw the 31-year-old Holly man sitting in his car exposing himself and masturbating while female gym patrons walked by, according to police.

The witnesses then told officers they moved to a new area of the parking lot but the man followed them, according to police.

The man then left the parking lot, but officers caught up and pulled him over on southbound John R Road near 14 Mile Road, according to police.

The man told officers he stopped in the parking lot to take a phone call and urinated inside a cup, and didn't think anyone saw him, according to police.

Officers arrested the man in connection with the incident. He was charged with indecent exposure and placed in the Troy Jail.
