Man Arrested In Troy Hit-And-Run That Injured 7-Year-Old Girl: Police
Police said the girl was crossing a Troy intersection while riding her bike in May when she was hit by a driver who never stopped.

TROY, MI — A man was arrested in connection to a hit-and-crash that injured a 7-year-old girl in Troy in May, police said.
Police said the girl was crossing the intersection of Silverstone Drive and Dryden Road while riding her bike at 10:51 a.m. when she was hit by a driver who never stopped.
The girl suffered a broken femur, broken pelvis and severe abrasions, police said.

Raed Yousef Abdalla, 27, of Troy was charged with felony fail to stop at the scene of an accident causing serious injury. He was placed in jail with a $1 million bond.
Abdalla was arrested in connection to the crash at a family member’s house on Monday by Dearborn officers, police said.

The arrest was made after officials linked Abdalla to a used car dealership in Roseville, where investigators found the car that struck the girl roughly 45 minutes after the crash, police said.
Residents in the Troy neighborhood said the car was familiar to the area.
