Man Pulls Gun on Woman at Stoplight in Troy: Police

Police investigating report of man in white Volvo getting out of his car and pointing gun at woman.

(Originally posted on Dec. 6, 2016) TROY, MI — One motorist pointed a gun at another after a traffic altercation on Dec. 3, police said. The incident occurred on northbound Adams Road, The Troy Times reported.

A woman told police that she was following a white Volvo and pulled alongside it, thinking the roadway had changed to two lanes. When she realized her lane was ending, she slowed down to allow the Volvo to pass. When both vehicles were stopped at a stop light on South Boulevard, the driver of the Volvo allegedly exited his vehicle, approached her vehicle and pointed a black handgun at her.

He didn't say or do anything else, but the woman reported it to police. The man is described as a white male between 50 and 60 years of age with short gray hair and a medium build.
