Michigan Voter Registration Deadline Tuesday, Oct. 11, for Presidential Election
If you aren't registered, you need to do so Tuesday to vote in the Nov. 8 general election

MICHIGAN — Are you registered to vote? The deadline to register to vote in Michigan for the Nov. 8 general election is Tuesday, Oct. 11.
To register to vote, you must be at least 18 years old by Election Day; a resident of Michigan; and a resident of any city or township where you are applying to register to vote.
If you think you are already registered, but aren't sure, check your status at Michigan.gov/vote. There you will find information about registering to vote and voting, voting equipment, polling place locations, state and local ballots, the candidates, campaign finance and more.

Your local clerk can help with questions about your voter registration, polling place location and working at the polls.
If you move within a city or township, you must update your address. This can be handled through your local clerk, at a Secretary of State branch office, by mail or at any other location where voter registrations are accepted. Michigan voters must use the same residential address for voter registration and driver's license purposes.

Consequently, if you submit a driver's license address change, it will be applied to your voter registration. Similarly, if you submit a voter registration address change, it will be applied to your driver's license. More information found here.
