Nationally Known Quilter to Visit CAMEO Quilters Guild
Quilter, Ami Simms presents "How Not To Make A Prize-Winning Quilt".
On Thursday, February 19, CAMEO Quilters Guild will host Ami Simms presenting her popular lecture, “How Not To Make A Prize Winning Quilt.” A sought after speaker on the national circuit for more than 25 years, Ami is the author of nine quilting books, numerous patterns, has designed two fabric lines and is the creator of the infamous “Worst Quilt in the World Contest”. She founded the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative, has appeared on television shows and was invited to the White House as part of the Art in Embassies program in 2004.
