1 Hurt In Troy Christmas Day Fire: Report

TROY, MI — A woman and her two dogs escaped a house fire in Troy on Christmas Day without any injuries, according to a report from the Oakland Press.

Firefighters found the blaze inside a room and quickly determined it spread inside the walls at a home on a residential street west of Rochester Road between Big Beaver and Wattles roads at 8:15 p.m., the report said.

A firefighter was taken to a nearby hospital for a minor injury and was expected to be ok, the report said.

Officials were still investigating the cause of the fire.
