Pet of the Week: Kitten Loves Dogs, Needs a Home

Wistar is available for adoption through Paws for Life Rescue in Troy.

Meet Wistar. He's a white and gray domestic short-haired tabby who was born May 30 and rescued, along with his mother, just one week later.

Wistar is very cute and uses his litterbox like a good kitten. He is very friendly, curious and outgoing. He gets along very well with other cats and dogs and loves to play, wrestle, chase toys around and climb his cat tower. He likes to watch the birds and leaves blow in the wind from the window.

Wistar is very sweet, friendly cat who enjoys companionship from humans and other animals. He is an indoor-only cat who should not be declawed. (According to the Humane Society of the United States, "If performed on a human being, [declawing] would be like cutting off each finger at the last knuckle.")
