Phony Bail Money ‘For Motion Picture Use Only’ Made The Rounds
The U.S. Secret Service says phony money marked "for motion picture use only" is being distributed around Macomb County.

TROY, MI — Bailing a relative out of the Troy lock-up facility didn’t work out well for a 41-year-old Birmingham woman on Saturday, Feb. 18. When she handed the currency over, one of the bills was a fake $100 bill, Troy police said.
Not only was it fake, it was stamped “for motion picture use only,” police said. The woman appears to have been duped, along with several parties.
The woman said she had gotten the money from her relative’s attorney, who said he’d gotten it from another client, who said she had gotten the money from a cash register at the coffee shop where she works in Macomb County.
