Poll: Should the Troy Library be Open on Saturday?
Troy Public Library seeks input on hours and days of operation as City Council directs staff to come up with a plan to open the facility on Saturdays.
Troy City Council members will discuss measures to reinstate Saturday hours at the .
At Monday's City Council meeting, Mayor Janice Daniels to require the library be open on Saturdays beginning Dec. 3. Currently the library is closed on Saturdays but open Sundays.
The resolution was tabled until Nov. 28, when the council will review a plan formulated by city administraton and library staff to change the days of operation to include Saturdays.

Library staff is currently seeking input from the public through an online survey to help gauge which days the library is most important to users. The survey allows computer users to pick which days the library should be closed if it were to open on Saturdays.
