Troy High Hosts MSBOA (Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association) District Marching Band Festival

Troy Colt Bands host the MSBOA (Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association) District Marching Band Festival beginning 6:30 pm on 10/12

There truly is no place like home, as the Troy Colt Bands host the MSBOA (Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association) District Marching Band Festival beginning at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 12 (rain date, October 19). “It is a great honor to once again be one of our district’s host sites for the MSBOA Marching Band Festival. We are excited to have seven marching bands from area high schools visit Troy High to share their halftime shows. This is also an opportunity for these schools to be evaluated by MSBOA judges to receive feedback and scoring on their performances. It is usually one of the best shows of the season,” says Troy High Band Booster President, Denice Schomer. The competing bands are from: Hazel Park, Fitzgerald, Sterling Heights, Warren Cousino, Rochester, Rochester Adams, Warren Mott, and our own TCMB. Pre-sale tickets ($2 for students/seniors, $3 for adults) can be purchased by sending a check written out to THBB to Troy High Band Boosters (4777 Northfield Pkwy, Troy, MI 48098). Tickets will be available for pickup after 6pm the day of the event at the THS Stadium Will Call window, or can be purchased at the gate. All advance purchases benefit the Troy High Bands.
