A 68-year-old Royal Oak man was released on $25,000 bond after he was arraigned Monday in connection with a June 28 fatal hit-and-run accident in Auburn Hills.Angelo Diangelo was charged with failure to stop at the scene of an accident, <a href="http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20140805/METRO02/308050042/0/METRO02/Royal-Oak-man-arrested-fatal-hit-run" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Detroit News reports</a>. Police say his vehicle struck and killed Ernest Carter, 55, of Belleville , who had stopped to check the taillights on his tractor-trailer.Investigators had determined the car that struck Carter was a silver 2013 Ford Focus.
