Secrest Wardle Sponsors Law Day 2016 Detroit
Attorneys from Secrest Wardle's Troy location served as volunteers for the event.

Troy, MI - The Third Circuit Court and the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association presented Law Day 2016 Detroit on May 12, 2016. Approximately 300 high school students from 15 Detroit schools participated in the event, which educates young men and women about the opportunities available in the legal profession and court system. Students spent time with judges and attorney mentors, and participated in group exercises and oral arguments.
The Honorable Chief Judge Robert J. Colombo, Jr., of the Third Circuit Court, served as Chair of Law Day 2016 Detroit; Antoinette Star Porter, Manager, Labor and Employment Team, of DTE Energy Company's Legal Department, served as Vice Chair. Secrest Wardle sponsored a scholarship for the event. Secrest Wardle attorneys Daniel Rizzo, Alexander Baum, and Justin Grimske, all located in the Firm's Troy office, served as volunteers.
