Secrest Wardle Supports National MS Society, Michigan Chapter, During National MS Awareness Week

Troy, Michigan - Secrest Wardle participated in MS Awareness Week, March 2 through 8, 2015, supporting the cause to increase awareness of multiple sclerosis, a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS vary among individuals and are unpredictable. The Troy location of Secrest Wardle was decorated in orange, the branding color for the MS movement, for the week.

Linda Willemsen, Marketing Coordinator for Secrest Wardle, is a member of the MS Leadership Class of 2015. The MS Leadership Class is a 12-week program during which business professionals throughout Southeast Michigan work together to fundraise and bring awareness to the movement to create a world free of multiple sclerosis. Since its inception in 2011, the MS Leadership Program has raised over $115,000 for the National MS Society, Michigan Chapter.

Secrest Wardle employees are welcome to participate in Casual Fridays to raise funds for a variety of charities throughout the year. The Firm has designated funds raised via a Casual Day each month throughout Ms. Willemsen’s participation in MS Leadership Class 2015 to support the National MS Society, Michigan Chapter. The Firm also auctioned off a gift basket in support of the cause during MS Awareness Week.
