Secrest Wardle Welcomes Partner John Schlinker to Lansing Location

Skilled attorney, John C. Schlinker, joins Secrest Wardle’s Lansing office as a Partner. He is a member of the Firm’s Employment, Municipal, Premises Liability, Property, Fire and Casualty, Motor Vehicle Litigation, and Insurance Coverage practice groups.

Mr. Schlinker has previously practiced statewide in the areas of insurance subrogation, commercial liability, and motor vehicle litigation. He is also well-experienced in managing municipal, employment and labor law matters. Mr. Schlinker formerly served as the Chief Deputy Treasurer and General Counsel in Ingham County; Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Genesee County and was appointed to the State of Michigan Parole Board. John Schlinker served as an adjunct professor of law at Michigan State University College of Law and Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
