Secrest Wardle Welcomes Two Associate Attorneys to Troy Location

Troy, MI - Secrest Wardle is pleased to announce that two new attorneys have joined the Firm!

Lisa A. Neville has joined Secrest Wardle's Troy location. Ms. Neville is a member of the Firm's Motor Vehicle Litigation Practice Group. Lisa Neville comes to Secrest Wardle from GEICO Insurance Company, where she was staff counsel defending PIP and third-party motor vehicle litigation matters.

Ms. Neville is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and the United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. Ms. Neville earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University, with Honors, in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012. While in law school Ms. Neville received numerous Academic Honors and was a Book Awards recipient. Lauren A. Sterrett has also joined Secrest Wardle’s Troy office. Ms. Sterrett is a member of the Firm’s Motor Vehicle Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Sterrett previously practiced in Metro Detroit, representing clients in a variety of no-fault litigation matters.

Ms. Sterrett earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees, with Honors, in History and Political Science, from the University of Michigan. She was an Angell Scholar while at U of M, attaining a 4.0 GPA for two consecutive semesters. Lauren Sterrett completed her law degree at Michigan State University College of Law, graduating with Honors. While in law school, Ms. Sterrett was named to the Dean's List for numerous semesters. She received a Jurisprudence Achievement Award in Negotiations, achieved Third Place Petitioner Brief, Moot Court Competition Class, served as Associate Articles Editor, International Law Review, and authored the publication, Product Liability: Advancements in European Union Product Liability Law and a Comparison between the EU and U.S. Regime (23 Mich. St. Int'l L. Rev. 885 (2015).) Ms. Sterrett was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2015. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.
