Secrest Wardle Welcomes Two New Associate Attorneys

Erin A. Moss Ferguson joins Secrest Wardle as an Associate attorney in the Firm’s Troy office. She has experience defending clients in diverse areas of the law including first and third party auto negligence, personal injury, contract and employment matters. Ms. Ferguson is a member of Secrest Wardle’s Motor Vehicle Litigation Practice Group.

Ms. Ferguson is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Ferguson earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Industry Management from Michigan State University. She received her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in Business Transactions in 2012.

Cleveland B. Simmons joins the Firm’s Troy location as an Associate attorney. Mr. Simmons is a member of Secrest Wardle’s General Negligence, Insurance Coverage, Motor Vehicle Litigation, Product Liability and Premises Liability Practice Groups. He has experience defending insurance companies, insureds and individuals in a variety of general liability defense matters including first and third party motor vehicle litigation and personal injury litigation.

Mr. Simmons received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and earned his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, he was an Appellate Moot Court Board member. He competed in national competitions and was a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board team that won third best respondent brief at the 2013 Robert F. Wagner National Labor & Employment Law Competition. Mr. Simmons is licensed to practice law in Michigan and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2013.
