Shelby Paint to Donate $1 for Every Gallon of Premium Benjamin Moore Paint Sold to Community Project

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Shelby Paint & Decorating today announced it will participate in Benjamin Moore’s “Main Street Matters” program and will donate $1 per each gallon of Benjamin Moore's premium paint and stains sold at its Shelby Township, Rochester Hills and Grosse Pointe Woods stores through Sept. 30 to local community revitalization projects. 

            Shelby Paint & Decorating plans to donate the proceeds from the Main Street Matters program to revitalize the Museum at Van Hoosen Farm in Rochester Hills; install pickle-ball courts at River Bend Park in Shelby Township; and donate to the Parks & Recreation Department of Grosse Pointe Woods to help fund various community programs. 

            “When Benjamin Moore launched its Main Street Matters program, we thought it was a great opportunity to partner with them and help fund some community projects locally,” said Brian Eisbrenner, president of Shelby Paint & Decorating. “The employees at each of our stores selected the local community projects they want the funds to go to, and the community has been very receptive to the program.”

            Eisbrenner said the total funds raised will be announced after the program ends Sept. 30.
